What make barefoot shoes different?

Barefoot shoes are designed to support natural movement. With a wide toe box, zero drop sole, and flexible design, they help your feet move freely—just like being barefoot, but with protection.

How should barefoot shoes fit?

Barefoot shoes should fit snugly around the heel and midfoot while allowing your toes room to splay naturally. A little extra space at the front (about a thumb’s width) is normal and recommended.

 I’m new to barefoot shoes. Is there an adjustment period?

Yes. Transitioning to barefoot shoes takes time. We suggest starting with short walks and gradually increasing wear time to allow your feet and muscles to adapt.

Are Joyo Barefoot shoes true to size?

Our shoes generally fit true to size, but we recommend checking our Size Guide before ordering. If you're between sizes, consider sizing up for more toe room.

Can I wear barefoot shoes for running or sports?

Absolutely! Many customers use Joyo Barefoot shoes for running, hiking, gym workouts, and everyday wear. Just make sure to transition gradually, especially for high-impact activities.

Do you offer exchanges for size issues?

We don’t process direct exchanges. If you need a different size, simply return the item within 30 days (unworn and in original packaging), and place a new order for the correct size.
