Frequently Asked Questions
1. What makes Joyo Barefoot shoes different?
Joyo Barefoot shoes are designed to support natural movement. With a wide toe box, zero-drop sole, and flexible design, they allow your feet to move freely — just like being barefoot, but with added protection and comfort.
2. How should barefoot shoes fit?
Barefoot shoes should fit snugly around the heel and midfoot while allowing your toes enough room to splay naturally. A small amount of extra space at the front (about a thumb’s width) is normal and recommended for proper movement.
3. I’m new to barefoot shoes. Is there an adjustment period?
Yes. Transitioning to barefoot shoes can take time as your feet and muscles adapt to the new movement. We recommend starting with short walks and gradually increasing wear time for the most comfortable experience.
4. Are Joyo Barefoot shoes true to size?
Our shoes generally fit true to size, but we recommend checking our Size Guide before ordering. If you're between sizes, consider sizing up for a little extra toe room.
5. Do you offer exchanges for size issues?
We don’t process direct exchanges. If you need a different size, simply return the item within 30 days (unworn and in its original packaging), and place a new order for the correct size.
6. What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery as long as the shoes are unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging. For full details, please see our Return & Refund Policy
